All of us wish Jenny Hartman congratulations as she embarks on a new phase in her life: retirement. After nearly 28 years in the home comfort business, as both customer service representative and credit & collections manager, she wrapped up her office duties on September 30.

“I started with a small family-owned business called Lou’s Fuel Service,” she
recalls. Jenny says when owner Lou Paquette retired in 2005, he sold his business to FSi, completely trusting us to take care of both his customers and employees.

He was right. All of the staff came over to work for FSi. I will be forever grateful to Steve Chase and his family for keeping me on. I have met wonderful people working here, both customers and co-workers. It’s always been a great pleasure. But it’s not goodbye. I will be stopping in for visits.

Jenny plans to travel to Florida more, where one of her two daughters lives. She enjoys knitting and rooting on either the Red Sox or Patriots — sometimes at the same time.
