FSi CEO Steve Chase Appointed Chair of PGANE

Steve Chase massechusetts

For more than 30 years, Fuel Services Inc. has served neighbors in South Hadley, MA and beyond with reliable propane deliveries, propane equipment installation and service – thanks in large part to the efforts and leadership of CEO and company founder Steve Chase.

Now Steve will take those leadership skills to the Propane Gas Association of New England (PGANE), where he was recently sworn in as Chairman.

“I’m honored by the appointment,” says Chase, a tireless advocate of the clean, green fuel and its benefits to the environment and community. “We have a good story to tell about propane, which is a clean, safe energy when handled properly.”

PGANE, a regional alternative energy trade association representing members of the propane industry in the six New England states, promotes propane safety, education, and public awareness of the uses and environmental and health benefits of propane. Its members include the nation’s largest propane companies and numerous small companies that are often family-owned and operated – many for several generations.

“We believe in propane, and in our members,” says Chase, who has also served as the Massachusetts State Director for the National Propane Gas Association since 2012. “It’s a climate-friendly energy that serves nearly 300,000 people in New England, so it’s very important to educate the public about its benefits and advocate for our more than 800 hardworking members.”

In addition to his positions at PGANE and NPGA, Chase is currently a board member of the BBB of Central and Western MA. He also served for twenty-five years on the Oxford, CT Fire Department and is a U.S. Navy veteran having served on the USS Little Rock.

We congratulate Steve on this latest honor, and for all his contributions to our company and the greater Massachusetts and propane communities.
